BLUES FC 5-5 OASIS FC
MATCH REPORT
29 November 2025-Queensdale Primary School
If Queensdale Primary School had a roof, it would have been lifted clean off on Saturday as Blues FC and Oasis FC delivered a ten-goal thriller that kept spectators on their toes from the first whistle to the last. The final score? A breathless 5-5 draw that felt less like a friendly match and more like a blockbuster premiere.
Oasis FC set the early tone with sharp, confident play. In the 23rd minute, Douglas pounced first, coolly slotting home the opener. Before the dust had even settled, Kedha doubled the advantage, giving Oasis a commanding 2-0 lead and a spring in their step.
But Blues FC were far from done. Their persistence paid off as they clawed one back, and moments later they struck again to level the match at 2-2. Just when it seemed momentum had shifted, Oasis FC responded in style. Mhike restored the lead with a composed finish just before the break, sending Oasis into halftime leading 3-2.
The second half began with fireworks of its own. Konate timed his run to perfection, beating the backline and converting Oasis FC’s fourth goal to stretch the lead to 4-2. But Blues FC, refusing to go quietly, stormed back with two quick goals of their own to tie things up at 4-4. The see-saw battle continued as Mhike, in brilliant form, completed his brace to give Oasis FC a 5-4 edge. It looked like the decisive moment, until Blues FC found a late equalizer from a rebound, sealing the match at 5-5 in dramatic fashion.
It was a contest full of heart, hunger, and attacking flair. Oasis FC is proud of the day’s goal scorers; Douglas, Kedha, Konate, and the ever-dangerous Mhike with his superb double. A thrilling showcase from both sides, and a reminder of why we love the beautiful game.
